In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.  Psalm 5:3

Many believers begin their morning with some kind of prayer and meditation, a time when they lay their requests before God. It is during this time of quiet reflection that we can come to know God more intimately, that we can bare our hearts and our souls, and that we can let go of the struggles of our lives. Then, we wait expectantly…for God to answer, for God to move, and for God to do what we cannot do.

Prayer:  Almighty God, you and you alone can change the circumstances of my life or the lives of those I love. I lay these requests at your feet and wait expectantly. Amen.
