Save us, Lord our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.  Psalm 106:47

It appears that the world is falling apart. There is war and hunger. There is little concern for the sanctity of life, and there is little respect for one another. Most importantly, there is an overwhelming denial of a power greater than ourselves.

God’s power of reconciliation and transformation is the solution. May we open our hearts and our minds to God’s power so that he may open our eyes to see each other in a different light.

Prayer:  Redeeming God, help us to see each other differently. Help us to work in community with another to bring an end to hate and disrespect. Help us to see that we are all a part of your creation. Amen.
