Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21
During Holy Week, believers around the world gather to remember the series of events that led to the crucifixion of Jesus. As we pause to consider the significance of this week, we are reminded of the love that God extends to us still today.
When we come into relationship with God through our belief in Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, we gain a harmony between our life and the inner reality of the Christ within. This harmony, a peace beyond all understanding, then extends to all those around us and can change the world.
Prayer: Almighty God, your resurrecting power changes my life from one of despair and hopelessness to a life filled with promise and peace. Grant me the grace to extend that peace to those around me. Amen.
